| when the creation tries to be the creator, something goes wrong.
you are not God.
only God is God.
you are something God made.
you have no idea for what purpose you were made.
God knows. He made you.
why don't you try asking Him why you're here?
you are not God

| i made breakfast today for my dad and I. more like brunch it was pretty good though i made some bacon and eggs with cheese and onions then toasted the bagels and also had honey nut cheerios in organic soymilk it was a good breakfast. but the only thing missing from this somewhat healthy breakfast was the fiber. but i can always take that in at lunch, through an orange and some pineapple. but any fruits and vegetables will do. anyways, here's how i made it
scrambled eggs with sauted onions and cheese 5 large eggs half an onion x amount milk x amount salt x amount ground black pepper 2 full slices jarlsberg cheese
so first you beat the eggs, then you add the milk. i put x amount cuz i didn't measure it, but anyways you wanna add milk till the yellow gets 1 shade lighter. it's easy to tell. then you add salt. i added about maybe 3/4 teaspoon, and today's taste was superb. maybe you wanna experiment with the salt, i personally couldn't taste much of it but then the cheese did add flavor. so where were we. add the salt, add some ground pepper to your liking, and you should have your egg mixture ready.
on the side, slice or dice the half onion up (i sliced it, i prefer bigger pieces for better texture) and then saute it on medium high heat. i added 1/4 teaspoon salt and some ground pepper. saute until well done and possibly a little browned and smelling good. set aside
now in another pan on medium heat, pour in the egg mixture and the onions on top, and the cheese on top. you can cut the cheese up into smaller pieces or even grate it, but i didn't. scramble. which is a lil complicated. Today i overdid the eggs a lil, meaning they were firm instead of soft, but of course they still tasted good. eggs can be soft, firm, and old. i think chinese people cook eggs until they're old, when they have some brown on them. A bit more hard. I prefer soft eggs, which is how they make them at oak glen. It's easy, just take the eggs off the heat as soon as they're solid. anyways. scrambling is hard to make them look good. although my eggs turned out fine, they were ugly. i think presentation is very important, so im gonna have to work on that. yeah so what i did was take this plastic spatula. not actually plastic, but the heatproof material, and then pull the eggs toward the center constantly. I don't know if thats the right way. actually it's not cuz it really messes up the eggs, making them ugly, but yeah thats the only way i could think of to keep the eggs from browning on the bottom.
done.
now for the bacon. i had never made bacon before but today the bacon turned out beautiful. they were golden brown and very crispy, not hard. yeah, the bacon was definitely not hard. All I did was put them in the nonstick flat pan with no oil and then let them sit there. It took a lil while, but eventually you should notice the bacon really shrivels up. and then the bottom is browning (at least the parts touching the pan) and some parts are puffed up. When the bottom is browning, then you flip it. and then it only takes 30 sec to a minute for the other side are done. By this time you should have a crapload of oil in the pan cuz bacon is fatty. Make sure on the serving plate you put two paper towels on it to absorb the excess oil. Anyways, after both sides are golden brown remove from heat and put on the paper towel. Take as much oil as you can off it. cuz fat is bad. too much, at least. Yeah that's about all i did, and it was really good.
i ate my bacon with toasted bagels. awesome
so yeah my only gripe about this breakfast is that it's kinda fatty. and lacking in fiber. But if you eat fruits before breakfast than that'd be good. A fruit smoothie made with vita-mix (without like ice cream or ice or loads of sugar like jamba juice) is always good. you really can throw in any fruit and just sweeten with honey and make it less thick with water. I suppose natural yogurt can be a pretty healthy ingredient.
but then as long as you exercise and keep active, i don't think eating a fatty breakfast will really affect you.
Yah i got up at 10 and now it's 12:30. i just finished brunch. that took a long time.

| bye bye a in calc
who cares
hello physics
i have 1 day to study
who's with me? (besides jonathan)
hmm...
my jaime vendera books came in recently but i can't touch them till finals are done
| | |
| heh finally finished that exam.
slept like 1 hour last night, was trying to cram, but still didn't do so hot on the exam...nonetheless i'm content that i actually worked hard and studied.
although i have to say @ jonathan's house our studying loses steam past the 3rd hour or so hahah and then we get heeeeeeeeeella distracted by like...STARCRAFT...and like....STREET FIGHTER....and like other stuff. but it's cool..and i realized that today was like the first friday in quite some time that i didn't even think about naruto/bleach/one piece...until i thought about it now...why am I mentioning this? not sure.
anyways, 1 week left, then i get to play piano like mad and exercise and do whatever i want! but hmm..i was thinking about this the other day, cuz like all this finals stuff has got me relying on God a lot more, and I don't want it to be just cuz I'm in a deep hole and I can't pull myself out! it makes me think of the Israelites, how they just disobey God then cry out then disobey him some more..then cry out some more...yeah i don't wanna be like that!
anyways. phys lab final monday korean final monday calc final tuesday vocal final wednesday phys lecture final thursday history final friday.
fun stuff....1 more week...what a relief.

| yo!
haha its been like a million years
so much has happened!
i ain't done much with my life, just same old, same old...
i'm such an in the moment person....suck at commitments...but hmm life...life, ain't it grand? if we just stop and take a look at what's around us, what we're given, what we have, it makes all the other problems insignificant...what are our problems, when compared to our life? the very fact that we've been given life, life on this earth, is enough.
hmm proving stuff to yourself...proving things to myself...just stop, nobody cares. you ain't gotta prove anything to yourself, you just gotta do your best.
college...university....it doesn't matter what university, only YOU matter..the desire to learn requires no prestigious college. to learn is to be humble, to accept that you are not perfect and that you can be better. grades...i wish everyone could just not look at grades and instead focus on the material. YOU GO TO SCHOOL TO LEARN, NOT TO GET GOOD GRADES. seriously. but who would believe that? people who think about it, that's who.
humility - something i have too little of. to be a leader is to be sure of yourself, or to act so even if you are not. hm? true? hm.
badminton - wanna start training again! but i gotta get fit to train, not train to get fit. or so rusdi says. anyways, seeing the difference in level between the us and asia is just too much!
girls - i think i've had enough to do with girls. let's just be friends kay?
almost 18. living like i'm 3. ok not really, but still. but isn't independence so overrated? i mean everyone is in a situation. so what if one can cook for himself, do his own laundry, take care of himself perfectly? another person isn't like that. and that's fine.
music...creativity, mm....jay chou is very interesting. you guys should read his time article if you get a chance. park hyo shin is too skilled in singing and his voice is too unfair.
God - be real to Him, be honest. don't show off, don't act differently. after all, what does God care for if you act holier than you really are? how pointless, it's like trying to decieve God. wait, that's exactly what it is. how stupid.
koreans - i'm not like a korean wannabe. i just like koreans. LOL
my laptop: i hate it. it's my drug....GET AWAY FROM ME
cars: i want an automatic car <100k miles......just to get where i need to go. i don't need to look flashy or anything. just needa get around.
SORRY SCOTT
